Ronald Beckham Obituary

Mr. Ronald Lee Beckham was born on December 20, 1955, in Birmingham, Alabama, to the late Willie Leroy Beckham, Sr. and Carrie Pigg Beckham.

At an early age, Ronald accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior, establishing a foundation of faith that remained with him throughout his life.

Ronald attended and graduated from Warrior High School and later furthered his education at Barnabas College in Cullman, Alabama.

A hardworking and dedicated provider, Ronald built a career as a Cement Mason and Concrete Finisher. Through years of skilled craftsmanship and commitment to excellence, he earned the respect of coworkers and clients alike. He later retired from Whisenant and Associates, LLC, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, integrity, and perseverance.

Ronald was united in marriage to Cynthia Stoves Beckham, and together they shared 34 years of marriage. Through that union, they built a family and created many cherished memories that remain a lasting part of his legacy. Although the marriage later ended in divorce, the love, experiences, and family they shared continued to be an important part of his life.

Ronald was also known as the family's trusted driver and navigator. Whether it was a quick trip across town or a family road trip across state lines, everyone knew Ronald would be behind the wheel. Long before GPS became a household necessity, he had an uncanny ability to find his way anywhere. Family members often joked that Ronald knew every road, shortcut, and landmark imaginable. His willingness to drive and his gift for always knowing where he was going created countless memories and adventures that his loved ones will cherish forever.

Ronald was known for his infectious sense of humor and generous spirit. He never missed an opportunity to make others laugh and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He especially loved his grandchildren and took great pride in their accomplishments. Whether through words of encouragement, gifts given from the heart, or simply sharing time together, Ronald made sure his granddaughters always knew how much they were loved.

On Monday, May 18, 2026, Ronald peacefully transitioned from labor to reward, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, strength, and devotion to family.

Ronald was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Willie Leroy Beckham, Sr. and Carrie Pigg Beckham; his sisters, Shirley Ann Beckham,  Jacqueline Beckham and Kimberly Beckham; and his brother, Eric Dean Beckham.

He leaves to cherish his memory his children:

Tracee Stoves Thomas (Courtney), Birmingham, Alabama, Demetrius Lamar Stoves (Tiffany), Montgomery, Texas, Reginald Patterson Richmond, Virginia; his cherished grandchildren.
