Sherrie Naomi Harris was born on April 24, 1951, to the late Eugene and Catherine Gillespie Harris in Blount County, Alabama.
Sherrie accepted Christ at an early age under the leadership of Elder A.J.Johnson, Jr.
Sherrie was united in holy matrimony to the late Willie Jones. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents, Eugene and Catherine Harris; Lonzo and Virginia Harris; and William and Rosa Gillespie. Also preceding her in death are brothers, Glenn Harris and Isaac Harris; sisters, Dorothy Marsh, Geraldine Smiley and Narva Turner. She leaves behind two living children; daughter, Stacy Harris (Jamie) Golden of Cleveland, OH and Stanford Lee Harris of Warrior, AL. Additionally, cherishing her precious memories are six grandchildren, Ciara Harris of Cleveland, OH, Channtelle Denton of Cleveland, OH, Chasity Denton of Cleveland, OH, Jalen Harris of Adamsville, AL, Jayla Harris of Adamsville, AL and Janard Harris of Cleveland, OH; seven great grandchildren, Aubree Davis, Thai’Lia Holloway, Bradford Bowden, Brooklyn Bowden, Amir King, Chance Johnson and Nova McMorris, all of Cleveland, OH; fourteen brothers and sisters, Rosa M. (Ira) Adams of Cleveland, OH, Icola V. (McArthur) Smiley of Hayden, AL, Willie R. (Eddie) Johnson of Minneapolis, MN, Jonah G. (Angela) Harris of Hayden, AL, Lorenzo (Juan) Harris of Hayden, AL, Lonzo (Carrie) Harris of Hayden, AL, Roger T.
